Open for Business (ISSN 2153-5469) is a general interest magazine covering ideas, culture, technology and politics. It has been published since October 5, 2001 and has reached millions of readers around the world since its launch. OFB is published by Universal Networks, an Internet communications and consulting company founded in 1996.

OFB welcomes contributions from a variety of perspectives. For information about submitting guest commentary or becoming a regular contributor, contact Editor-in-Chief Timothy R. Butler at tbutler@ofb.biz. Open for Business accepts submissions related to technology, current events, politics, philosophy, culture, business and other relevant matters for publication.

Commentaries should generally be 600-800 words in length; other works vary but should be kept to less than 1500 words in almost all cases. The editors reserve the right to change the wording, but not meaning, of submitted works for the purposes of proper grammar, clarity or space.
