[CS-FSLUG] Apache (gave up for tonight)

I got tired of trying to get apache tomcat to work, at first it was going
alright until I got so far and the blasted thing wouldn't let me run any
compiled java beans (compiled java code separate from the actual pages that
does cannot run as standalone applications).

Now I'm playing with Apache and perl but no matter what I try I cannot get the
blasted thing to allow me to use http://localhost/~nathan , every time I try
it gives me a "403 forbidden" error message, I've looked through the apache
documentation for a way to fix this and came across something on mod_userdir
but I tried reading the documentation and modifying the configuriaton files
appropriately with no success. Can anyone help me out? I hate working with
web servers :-( .
