Frankly, I don't care if the app takes 5 seconds or 25 seconds - maybe I'm just used to slow CPU's. I just graduated to a 1.3 GHz box recently from a P-II 350 MHz. The old one kept close behind the 1.8 GHz box at work. Boost yer RAM, if you can. And these guys are right - you can control the auto-bulleting in OOo.
