[CS-FSLUG] In piracy battle, Microsoft scrapes bottom of the barrel!

"Just six months ago, Microsoft was making SP2 available to all XP users,
legitimate or not, because the software giant considered its obligation to a
secure Internet more important than company revenues. However, according to
today's News.com report by Ina Fried, Microsoft has identified a reduction in
unauthorized use of Windows as a key growth opportunity for the business.
How's that for a change of heart? With free versions of desktop Linux getting
better and better, Sun and Novell offering desktop productivity solutions for
$50 per year, significant delays to the next generation of Windows, and what
appears to be a lot of Windows upgrade resistance, I have to wonder if this
is a signal from Microsoft that the Windows dynasty has finally run out of
gas. What do you think?"
