In personal experience and in speaking with others, I have yet to see salvation come by enforcement of morality. I have often met people disenchanted by such activity who have become rather closed to that religion known as Christianity. Therefore, I find that focusing my efforts on moral activism is taking my eyes off the goal. That isn't to say that I don't support a side, but rather I don't go out of my way to bring the topic up. I think it is plain that the number of moral activists beating drums out-numbers the realistic expectations for bringing men to Christ through that method. I suggest that the devil has significantly distracted us. Take Roe v. Wade for example... My wife summarized her biography after having read it. Her story is an excellent example of being turned by kindness and the love of God. Granted, it was done by abortion activists, but not by their opinions on abortion, but rather love for her despite that. JSR/
