[CS-FSLUG] Is Deleting Spyware A Crime?

There're some spyware out there that are trying to pass themselves off
as spyware detectors. Have U got SpyBot Search and Destroy installed?
Try uninstalling Spyware doctor and then do a test with SpyBot.

I'm using a modified version of Fedora Core 3 on my laptop, and it's
working fine. What was the problem that U encountered?

I created a fresh install of windoze98 and then (from a CD) installed spyware doctor. I found 89 instances of spyware (including a keystroke logger, and "bot" that was apparently meant to monitor sites visited with IE) on a fresh install that had never been connected to a network. Either the spyware doctor is spyware or microsoft forces you to install software.
