By reverse DNS?  Might put you in the right province with my ISP, but 
probably not the right "home town".  My current 'public' ip address is:
65.95.177.131 - Toronto-HSE-ppp3668870.sympatico.ca

But I'm 200km away from that city.  I've seen reverse dns report places 
500km away.
