This is NOT an earth shattering truth, but its one of those things
that suddenly you become aware of and would like to share.

I will be 70 this year and you would think I was smarter than this,
but I have had a revelation today on ONE of the things to pray for.

Often we pray for fewer problems in our lives.  Sometimes its a prayer
for only one less problem, some specific problem.  But I realised
today as I was "stamping out brush fires" here and there that when we
pray like that we are praying for the wrong thing.  Problems are like
the gravy on our biscuits.  Life, like biscuits, would be bland
without the gravy.  We need problems.

So what I now think I will pray for is more solutions.  Bring on the
problems, but please also furnish some solutions so the problems wont
be so difficult or so lasting.
