If you only have VGA on your computer, I'd stick with VGA. HDMI is
essentially DVI + HDCP (DRM support) + audio. It's what most Blu-Ray
players, HD cable boxes, etc., use, as well as things like the
PlayStation 3. It can be easily converted to DVI if you get a DVI-
supporting video card -- then you just use a el cheapo DVI-to-HDMI
cable that you can get from Cables2Go on Amazon. :-)
DVI will eliminate flickering and most ghosting on your screen, since
its a purely digital signal from the computer to the screen.
