Monday night the British thinker and politician Daniel J. Hannan posted on TwitteX what was from all appearances a typical “Truth” “Social” screed by Donald Trump. It said that there would be no need to count ballots from next week’s elections because he, Trump, had already declared that Republicans had won every race and there was nothing anyone can do about it.
Darline Graham Nordone did her candidacy no favors at yesterday’s debate when she directly admitted her ignorance on national security issues. Her critics seized on it as disqualifying, but if we actually care about what we say we care about in politicians, they’re wrong.
Alas, it has begun anew. It will get worse and there’s reason to believe that this time it will be more irritating than ever before.
